Forming the Beloved Community: Guiding Ideal, Living Images and Actual Practice

April 27 - May 1

Seminary Extension Course, Open to the Public

With Rev. Paul Newton, Rev. Patrick Kennedy and Anna Silber

Through presentations, conversation, and artistic experiences we will explore the theme of the ‘beloved community.’ This reality, which longs to find expression among human beings and which touches every human heart, will be the center of our focus for the week.  Together we will seek for the ideal of Philadelphia, work with living images in the Gospels and beyond, and explore helpful practices. Our starting point is that which was initiated by Christ among the disciples in the Upper Room, which then rays out into wider circles of life, leading us into the future.

Suggested Donation: $300.00 – $200.00 US

If a contribution in this range would prevent your attending you may suggest a lesser amount.  Please email   info@christiancommunityseminary.ca or call (845) 356-0972 to discuss.
